Internal and external marketing materials I have worked with Baker Furniture for 15 years and have designed materials for internal and external communication. External communication includes direct to consumer as well as to the trade. Although the brand standards have shifted through the years, the main look and feel of beautiful product shots, white space and clean design has remained constant. I have completed projects as simple as flyers for events and as complex as complete marketing programs for a particular sale including signage, advertising, eblasts, direct mailers and brochures.

Logo, business materials and website design Worked with Marketing Manager to design a new logo and re-brand all materials for the company. Once the logo was approved, I re-designed the business materials as well as the website, graphics for all social media sites and sales materials including one-sheet. We are in the process of re-working presentations and office graphics.

“Spot Tables” eblast Designed eblast to promote a new line of side tables with links to Baker’s website. Communication was also used to generate attention for an upcoming event at the Paris store.

Bridges to Baccalaureate website Utilizing the university’s approved WordPress templates, I collaborated with an independent writing professional to develop the visually appealing website. The site promotes the program in an effort to recruit students, community college faculty and UIC faculty to participate in UIC’s Bridges to Baccalaureate program. Print and electronic invitations Over the years I have designed many print and electronic invitations for Baker Furniture events. The beautiful details of the furniture provide eye-catching visuals to go with the messages.

Designer Dividend’s Program Designed variety of materials to support an incentive program for interior designers, the program has it’s own look while staying true to the Baker brand. Materials included eblasts, postcards, brochures and invitations.

Logo, business materials, website and marketing communications design I worked with the owner, a colleague of mine, to develop materials to promote her writing and editing business. Initially she required business materials and an informational website and over the years has hired me to design promotional materials such as a moving email and holiday cards to accompany client gifts.

Barbara Barry Around Beauty Sweepstakes Using a common image and design, I developed multiple eblasts to promote a Barbara Barry Sweepstakes. The winner received the accent table featured in the layout as well as a signed copy of designer’s book “Around Beauty”.

Looping Powerpoint presentation Designed Powerpoint presentation for use at trade shows to market Staywell’s capabilities, includes opening slide, section tabs slides and product pages.

“Discover our Designers’ Favorites” Eblast Designed eblast that directed recipients to Baker’s website, specifically to a page on which designers choose their favorite piece designed by another of the company’s designers.
